Easter 2009

Long time coming.....

It has been awhile since I have written a blog and I am so sorry!
To start things off, Noah is actively walking (really just running) and talking. He says "Hi" to pretty much everything. Especially when he sees a phone, cell phone, remote, anything with buttons! He has two play phones and one play remote, but their is nothing like the real thing.
He also says dog, ju (which is for juice) and baba (for bottle). He likes to just repeat the words over and over and have Sean or I repeat them back, great fun!!

We just got back from a short vacation in the mountains of NC visiting Grandma and Grandpa Richardson. The trip started a little rough with poor little Noah vomiting Friday morning into the afternoon. Made for an exciting and tense trip for Sean and I. Took about 11 hours to get to the mountains, but was wonderful visiting. Sunday evening I began getting sick and Monday Sean was sick, we were unable to leave NC but Grandma and Grandpa Richardson came to the rescue and allowed us a day of rest while they played with Noah. Grandma R. loved playing and dancing with Noah, and he loved it as well. It was a great trip and always so nice to be with more family!

I will do better on posting more events as pictures as they come!!

These little shoes are made for walking!!!

So Noah has been quite busy since his last post. Christmas came and went....We spent a very cold wonderful week in Chicago visiting the Richardson side of the family and now we are back in Memphis.
Sean and I are thinking of first birthday themes for Noah's first birthday party, which is Sat. Feb 21st. We have Rachel and her boyfriend, Ron coming in from Denver CO and Grandma and Grandpa Richardson coming from NC and they will also be here for the grand party!!!

Noah is growing like a weed and today has taken his first steps all by himself. I held out his little mini waffle and he took 5 steps all by himself. I was almost in tears and Sean was clapping for him. We both thought it was very amusing that Noah was taking his first steps while chasing a waffle. Sean said "He's a Richardson!!"

Noah has his own fishtank that has his daddy set up that has  3 goldfish and one algae eater, he is quite impressed by it. He loves pulling himself up and stares at them and talks and chatters with them.

He is also eating alot more adult food. He likes pizza, sour cream, ice cream, soup, and lots of other things!!

I will try to be better about updating everyone with Noah's life!!

Noah is healthy again!

Last Wednesday, Noah came down with the same funk he had twice before. He was running a low grade fever so we decided just to give him some Motrin and take it as he is teething. (he has 4 teeth coming in at the same time on the top, OUCH!!!) But on Thursday, he had 104 degree temp at daycare. Sean quickly went to pick him up and took him to the doc. They never really said what was wrong with him, but think it is the same upper respiratory infection that most children commonly get in daycare or when they are around other children. But this time they gave him an antiobiotic, which I hated, but with such a high fever, something needed to give!
Friday, Grandma and Grandpa E. took the day off work and stayed with Noah at home. Oh how they love their Noah boy!
He slept most of the day Friday as he did all weekend. He barely ate, would not nurse and just laid around and cuddled, it was really heartbreaking!!
By Sunday night, he was a new boy!!! He was playing and smiling and laughing, and eating!! He is back to normal Noah now, but Sean has the funk now! He is slowly getting over it, hopefully we have kicked for good!

But Noah has recently begun clapping his hands and getting into as much as trouble as possible! We are scared of what his terrible 2's are going to be like!

Halloween

So my mom and I decided to have a fun Halloween party at their house instead of Noah going out trick or treating. His caregiver, Julie, lent him a cute little bear costume and we dressed him up for our Halloween party. Mom fixed lots of spooky little appetizers and a fun dinner for us all. Noah tried his first vegetable stew and loved it!

First Timer

So after almost 9 months of being here on earth, My mommy decided to start this!

She thought it would be a fun way to keep everyone up to date on all my new accomplishments, photos and news! Hope you come back often!!
